I’m ready to retire my current Wix site, AardvarkArchitecture.com, and relaunch on WordPress with a cleaner, faster-loading, modern look that matches our established brand colors. The site structure should remain familiar—visitors already know where to find things—but performance, design polish, and content feeds all need an upgrade. Scope of work • Migrate all existing copy, images, and SEO metadata from Wix to WordPress, correcting any typos you notice along the way. • Apply a modern visual style that uses my brand palette (I’ll share exact color codes). • Build the following pages on WordPress: 1. Home 2. Book a Meeting (embed Calendly or similar) 3. About 4. FAQ 5. Reviews – live feed pulled from my Houzz.com profile 6. Designs – automatic display of my YouTube channel videos plus latest Instagram posts 7. Bay Area Project Map – interactive map highlighting completed projects (Google Maps or comparable tool) Key objectives • Sub-three-second load times on both desktop and mobile. • Responsiveness across all major breakpoints. • Straightforward back-end editing: I’m comfortable with Gutenberg blocks, but I’m open to Elementor or similar if it serves the build better. • Preserve current URLs where possible or implement proper redirects to keep SEO intact. Deliverables & handoff • Fully functioning WordPress site on my hosting (I’ll provide credentials). • All required plugins installed and configured. • Brand-matched global styles and reusable blocks/templates. • A short walkthrough video or live screen-share to show me how to update content feeds, edit copy, and manage the map pins. Acceptance criteria The site passes Google PageSpeed Insights (desktop 90+, mobile 80+), every listed page is present and error-free, external feeds update automatically, and all links from Google Search Console resolve without 404s. If you have questions about plugins, hosting tweaks, or anything else, let me know so we can keep this migration smooth and quick.
