Project Title Design & Development of a Full-Featured Medical OSCE Examination Platform (Source Code Required) Project Overview We are seeking an experienced software development team to design and develop a complete, modern Medical OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) digital platform, comparable in quality, robustness, and usability to the top three OSCE solutions currently used worldwide. The goal is to build a fully fledged yet optimized and simplified system that can be deployed by medical schools, teaching hospitals, and healthcare training institutions for student assessment, examiner grading, analytics, and reporting. This project is not a prototype. It is a production-ready, enterprise-grade solution with full source code delivery and clean, maintainable architecture. Key Objectives Develop a modern, scalable OSCE platform that matches the functional depth and UX quality of leading global solutions. Deliver a simplified, optimized architecture without unnecessary complexity. Ensure full ownership of source code, documentation, and deployment assets. Build a system that is configurable, extensible, and future-proof. Scope of Work (High-Level) 1. User Roles & Access Control The system must support multiple roles, including (but not limited to): System Administrator Academic / Exam Administrator Examiner / Assessor Student / Candidate Quality Assurance / Reviewer Each role must have granular permissions and role-based access control (RBAC). 2. OSCE Exam Management Creation and configuration of OSCE circuits, stations, and rotations Station setup (timed stations, rest stations, emergency stations, etc.) Assignment of students, examiners, and observers Multi-station, multi-track exam flow support Real-time and offline exam execution support (if applicable) 3. Assessment & Grading Engine Customizable checklists, rubrics, and global rating scales Numeric, descriptive, and weighted scoring models Automatic score aggregation across stations Pass/fail logic and grading rules Examiner comments and structured feedback The grading experience must be fast, intuitive, and error-resistant. 4. Examiner & Student Interfaces Examiner-friendly UI optimized for tablets/laptops Student portal for: Exam schedules Results (when released) Feedback and reports UI/UX must be clean, modern, and clinically appropriate. 5. Analytics, Reports & Quality Assurance Station-level and exam-level analytics Student performance reports Examiner variability and reliability analysis Exportable reports (PDF / Excel) Audit logs and traceability for quality assurance 6. System Architecture & Technology Modern, well-structured backend (modular, scalable) Secure RESTful or GraphQL APIs Responsive web frontend (and/or PWA if proposed) Database design optimized for exam data integrity Secure authentication and data protection best practices Developers may propose their preferred technology stack, provided it is: Widely supported Well-documented Suitable for long-term maintainability 7.
