Mailgun Replacement

I’m ready to move away from Mailgun purely to cut costs, yet I can’t risk breaking any of my existing transactional-email flows. I need someone who understands the entire pipeline—from account creation to DNS records and final code swaps—to lift my current setup onto a cheaper, equally reliable platform. Here is what the job involves: • Assess the volume and API calls my app makes today, then recommend a provider with strong deliverability and better pricing. I’m open-minded: SendGrid, Amazon SES, Mailchimp, or any other solid option works as long as it’s reliable and affordable. • Create or configure the new account, generate the API key, and replicate my current settings (domains, subdomains, sender identities, suppression lists, webhooks). • Update all DNS entries—SPF, DKIM, DMARC, plus any CNAMEs for click/open tracking—so they pass with a clean “authenticated” status. • Swap out Mailgun endpoints in the codebase, redeploy, and test every transactional template and webhook to confirm no message is missed, duplicated, or delayed. • Provide a quick hand-off note or short Loom showing where to find logs, how to pause traffic, and how to roll back in case of a rare hiccup. Everything must run smoothly from the first production send: no downtime, no delivery-rate drop, and no unexpected billing spikes. If you’re comfortable owning the migration end-to-end, let’s get started.
