Luminous Whispers is a groundbreaking 300-panel interactive story that translates high art, philosophy, and music into a multi-sensory VR journey. Your challenge is to transform complex, high-art styles into dynamic, performant Unreal Engine shaders and immersive VR environments. The Artistic Challenge (Technical Artistry Required): The project demands converting philosophical aesthetics into technical performance: Gaudí (Luminara): Creating organic, self-growing crystalline bio-architecture shaders. Giger (Umbriel): Developing biomechanical decay and complex, dissonant material networks. Klimt (Eros): Implementing fluid, gold-leaf-inspired shaders for character forms and environments. The Proposition: Deferred Compensation and Ownership The project is structured around successfully securing the Unreal Engine MegaGrant. We are looking for immediate commitment, with significant compensation and equity secured by the grant funds later. Phase Duration Compensation & Structure Role Phase 1: Proof-of-Concept (POC) & Grant Application 6–8 Weeks Deferred Payment + Equity Share. Your work for this phase will be billed against the grant budget and paid immediately upon the grant award. You are securing the funding. Develop 2–3 stunning, optimized POC panels in UE (e.g., the Giger Dissonance shader, the Gaudí Bio-Architecture module) specifically for the MegaGrant submission. Phase 2: Full Production (Upon Grant Award) 12+ Months Competitive Salary + Revenue Share + Significant Equity. You will receive compensation for Phase 1 work and transition into a full-time, lead role. You become the Lead Developer/Technical Director, managing the Unreal pipeline and utilizing the secured grant funds to execute the full 300-panel experience.
