Job Summary : We are looking for a Junior Kotlin Mobile App Developer to support the development and maintenance of our Android applications. As our user base grows, we need a motivated developer to assist in implementing new features, fixing bugs, enhancing UI/UX performance, and supporting quality assurance efforts. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with our Lead Developer and Product Team, gaining real-world experience and contributing to live, user-facing projects. This role is ideal for someone with foundational knowledge of Kotlin and Android development who is eager to learn, grow, and thrive in a collaborative, agile environment. Role Summary : Minimum 2 years of Experience is desirable. • Assist in developing and maintaining Android applications using Kotlin • Collaborate with the lead developer to implement features and resolve issues • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging • Work with the product team to translate user requirements into functional mobile features • Improve UI/UX performance and help ensure app stability • Support in managing API integrations and data handling • Stay updated with the latest Android development tools and best practices Ideal Candidate : • Basic to intermediate experience with Kotlin for Android development • Familiarity with Android Studio and Android SDK • Understanding of key Kotlin concepts like val vs var • Exposure to architectural patterns such as MVVM or MVP • Experience with RESTful APIs and data loading in mobile apps • Familiarity with Jetpack Compose or XML-based UI layouts • Understanding of debugging and testing tools used in Android development • A portfolio or example of a past Android project (preferred but not required) Preferred Skills : • Experience with version control (e.g., Git) • Knowledge of coroutines and dependency injection (e.g., Hilt, Dagger) • Previous contributions to published Android apps
