I am building a new collection of rings and need an experienced CAD artist who works comfortably in Matrix 9 or ZBrush. Each piece must be modelled with clean, production-ready geometry so my caster can move straight to wax without extra cleanup. The focus is on rings, often incorporating detailed engravings, complex stone settings and fully custom shapes. I will supply sketches, reference photos and stone sizes; you translate them into accurate 3D models, add the appropriate seatings, check minimum wall thicknesses and keep every measurement true to the brief. Basic metal-and-gem renders are enough for review, though the ability to push those to a more photoreal finish is a welcome bonus. Deliverables for every project • STL ready for print/casting • Editable 3DM with organised layers • 2–3 basic perspective renders in PNG or JPG I review all files in Materialise/Magics and Rhino, so watertight meshes, correct normals and clean boolean seams are essential. If you have a portfolio that shows similar work—especially rings with intricate engraving or multi-stone layouts—please attach it when you bid. Proven quality will lead to regular, ongoing assignments.
