High-Detail Metal Casting Model

I have the concept drawings, reference photos and key measurements for a small “AI pet” figurine that will later be cast in metal. Your task is to translate those references into a watertight, production-ready 3D model using Blender (or comparable software such as ZBrush, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, etc.). Key points you should know before starting: • The prototype will first be printed in ABS on an FDM printer, so the file must respect typical FDM constraints (wall thickness, overhangs, support strategy). • A high level of detail is required; the final cast piece needs to capture fine features like facial contours, foot pads and panel seams. • I’m after a deliberately textured surface—not a glossy sculpt—because that texture will help the foundry metal flow and give the finished metal pet its intended character. Deliverables 1. Native working file (e.g., .blend) plus final STL/OBJ ready for 3D printing. 2. A decimated version optimized for quick previews. 3. One screenshot or turntable render showing polygon flow and key dimensions. 4. Short note listing recommended print orientation and support zones for ABS. Acceptance criteria • Model passes Meshmixer/Netfabb checks with no non-manifold edges or flipped normals. • All features remain crisp at a 0.1 mm layer height print. • Texture depth ranges between 0.2–0.4 mm as discussed. If this sounds like your wheelhouse, let me know your estimated turnaround time and any questions you may have about the provided reference pack.
