I already keep all of my documentation in a single HelpNDoc project, but the export options aren’t meeting our publishing standards yet. My first priority is to perfect the numbering logic in the PDF: every chapter, section, figure, and equation must follow a clean hierarchical pattern (Chapter 1, 1.1, 1.1.1, Fig. 2-3, Eq. 4-2, etc.) without manual tweaking on my side. While doing that, I also need the PDF broken out into several separate files, each centered on a specific topic that reflects the major themes of the product rather than a strict chapter split. Consistent typeface and line-spacing across those parts is essential so that they read as a cohesive series. On the HTML side, HelpNDoc’s default skin looks dated. I want a fresh, responsive layout similar in feel to this reference: https://computherm.com/Pandat_OnlineHelp/Content/Home.htm — navigation panel, breadcrumb path, and search should stay, but colours, fonts and overall styling need to shift to a more modern aesthetic. Deliverables • Updated HelpNDoc templates or scripts that generate: – Multiple topic-based PDFs with correct numbering, uniform fonts, and spacing – A redesigned HTML output matching the look and usability of the reference site • Clear instructions or reusable build profile so I can reproduce the exports for future versions If you have prior experience customising HelpNDoc print and web templates—or can script post-processing in LaTeX, CSS, or similar—let’s talk. I can supply the current project file and an example of the “gold-standard” PDF we want to emulate.
