I’m launching a dedicated online shop for heating and cooling appliances and need the entire WooCommerce storefront built from the ground up. The focus will be on products such as air-conditioners, heaters, thermostats, fans and related accessories, so the layout, categorisation and filters have to make it easy for customers to compare specs like BTU rating, energy efficiency and coverage area. Here’s the workflow I have in mind: • Configure WordPress + WooCommerce on my hosting, applying a lightweight, mobile-first theme. • Custom-design the homepage, category pages and product templates to showcase technical details, manuals and comparison tables without looking cluttered. • Set up essential plugins for payments (Stripe & PayPal), shipping calculations, tax, wish-lists and automated follow-up emails. • Import an initial catalogue of about 80 SKUs; I’ll supply the CSV, images and spec sheets. • Optimise performance (caching, image compression, CDN hook-ups) so pages remain snappy even with large spec images. • Configure basic on-page SEO and schema to help product rich-snippets surface in search. • Hand over with a short Loom walkthrough and a checklist so I can easily add new models each season. Acceptance criteria 1. Store goes live on my domain with no console errors and a GTmetrix grade of A or better. 2. Add-to-cart, checkout, payment and confirmation emails work end-to-end in both test and live modes. 3. Product pages clearly display variation pricing, energy-rating badges and downloadable PDFs. 4. I receive administrator credentials plus a one-page quick-start guide outlining theme, key plugins and update steps.
