I’m building a small stack of PCBs and need a neat, editable cable harness laid out directly in Autodesk Fusion 360. The link between the boards will rely on DB15 connectors so the whole stack can be daisy-chained; a few signals branch out through my usual GX16 and GX5 panel connectors. The task will be to create the cable wiring between the boards in different configurations, hereto cables of the GX16 and GX5 connectors. We have the full STEP files for the boards, and the connectors, and we have the assemblies as well. The job is to create the cables between them and provide the modes in Autodesk 3D fusion format, and STEP format. We have rendering software so we can do that ourselves. Deliverables • Fusion 360 files with board, sensors and powerlines connected with cables. • STEP exports of the connector models Acceptance criteria: the files open with no missing references, the joint structure lets me change spacing freely, and all connectors measure true to the real parts so I can hand the assembly straight to the enclosure team.
