I have a new product concept that now needs to move from sketch to a manufacture-ready stage, so I’m looking for a 3D artist who can turn my references into a precise digital model aimed specifically at prototyping. The goal is a product model that captures all functional details—mounting points, mating surfaces, internal cavities, and any simple mechanisms—so a prototype shop can use it straight away. Cosmetic textures or high-end visual effects aren’t important at this stage; dimensional accuracy and clean, watertight topology are. You will receive: • Hand-drawn sketches, overall dimensions, and a short feature list. • Notes on critical tolerances and assembly clearances. Deliverables: • A fully-closed, scale-accurate 3D file (preferred formats STEP and STL; let me know if you need others). • A low-resolution preview for quick review before final export. • One round of minor revisions to iron out fit or clearance issues. Acceptance criteria: 1. All specified functional elements modelled within ±0.2 mm tolerance. 2. Exports open without errors in Fusion 360 or SolidWorks. 3. Face normals consistent and model watertight (no non-manifold edges). If this fits your skill set in CAD or solid modelling, please tell me which software you’ll use and share one example of a past prototype-ready product model.
