I run an organisation that lives and breathes Odoo and I’m ready to bring on a full-time engineer who can own and extend every corner of the platform. Day to day you’ll be deep in the Sales, Inventory and Accounting modules, yet the work rarely stops there—fully-custom flows, brand new apps, tricky third-party integrations and performance tweaks across “everything in Odoo” are all on the table. Here is what the role looks like: • Hands-on coding in Python inside the Odoo framework, creating new models, views and business logic. • Tuning and customising Sales, Inventory and Accounting so they match our exact processes, from quotations and stock moves to automated financial postings. • Designing extra features or complete micro-apps when Odoo’s out-of-the-box toolset isn’t enough. • Migrating legacy customisations between versions, resolving conflicts and keeping our codebase clean through Git. • Integrating external services via Odoo’s REST and XML-RPC APIs and making sure data flows flawlessly. • Troubleshooting bugs reported by users, reviewing logs and shipping hot-fixes without breaking existing flows. Acceptance criteria for each task are published in our internal tracker; a merge request with green tests marks a job as “done”. I work in short sprints and expect clear, daily updates through Slack or a similar channel.
