PROJECT TITLE Odoo 19 Community Full Deployment, White-Label Rebranding & Long-Term Maintenance --- PROJECT OVERVIEW We are looking for an experienced Odoo developer or team to deploy Odoo 19 Community Edition on our own Linux server (Proxmox-based VM). The goal is to completely rebrand it as our own ERP platform — including removing all “Odoo” references and replacing them with our brand identity. We intend to resell this rebranded ERP as a SaaS solution (multi-tenant setup), so the system must look, feel, and operate as our own software with no visible Odoo branding, links, or external dependencies. The project also includes a long-term support and upgrade agreement, ensuring future Odoo version updates (Odoo 20, 21, etc.) and app compatibility maintenance. --- PROJECT OBJECTIVES 1. Server Setup & Deployment Deploy Odoo 19 Community Edition on our dedicated VM (Ubuntu or Debian). Configure PostgreSQL, Nginx reverse proxy, SSL, and firewall (UFW or firewalld). Enable multi-database support and setup dbfilter for multi-domain operation. Configure daily database backups and system monitoring tools. --- 2. Rebranding & White-Labeling Replace all Odoo logos, icons, and references with our brand name and design Update: Login screens, web menus, and favicon Loading animations About page, copyright notices, and footer Email templates and report headers Remove or redirect: All “Powered by Odoo” links Odoo documentation and app store references Odoo Community URLs and update servers Implement custom theme styling (colors, fonts, UI tweaks) aligned with our brand. Add our brand tagline, favicon, and custom logo set --- 3. Apps & Modules Install and configure required Odoo 19 Community apps: CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, Website, HR, etc. Add custom modules we’ve developed or purchased from trusted sources. Ensure compatibility and performance optimization for all modules. Disable or remove unused modules to simplify the interface. --- 4. Multi-Tenant / SaaS Setup Configure Odoo for multi-company / multi-database environments. Each tenant/domain should be isolated but centrally managed. Setup automated provisioning for new databases (optional). Optimize for scalability and low resource consumption. --- 5. Testing & Handover Perform full system test for: Branding consistency Module integration Multi-tenant functionality Security hardening (fail2ban, SSL, backups) Provide documentation for: Server access and configuration Odoo admin credentials Backup and restore procedures Future upgrade instructions --- ONGOING MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT The selected freelancer will also enter into a long-term maintenance and upgrade agreement, which includes: Task Frequency Notes Bug Fixes & Error Resolution As needed Response within 24 hours Odoo Version Upgrades Once per new release Ensure compatibility with custom/bought apps App Updates As needed Maintain full functionality after each upgrade Security & Performance Checks Monthly Minor patches, log rotation, cleanup Minor Feature Enhancements Optional Based on our roadmap A minimal monthly retainer fee will be paid for this support. Larger updates (e.g., Odoo 20 migration) will be handled as milestone projects. --- SKILLS REQUIRED Deep knowledge of Odoo (preferably v17–19) Python, PostgreSQL, Nginx, Linux server administration Frontend customization (XML, SCSS, JS, QWeb templates) Multi-tenant and white-label Odoo setups Git / Docker familiarity (advantage) Fluent English communication and structured documentation skills --- DELIVERABLES 1.
