We are looking for a contributor to write reviews of underground metal albums for a website published in English. We are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about metal, has solid knowledge of its many subgenres, and feels comfortable writing about the full spectrum of metal music. The use of artificial intelligence tools is strictly prohibited, for writing or assisting the writing process. AI detection tools will be used. Reviews will also be published on Encyclopaedia Metallum (metal-archives.com), a platform where the use of AI is likewise prohibited. Africa.Rocks has a strong charitable and volunteer-driven ethos, and is an independent project sustained by the team’s efforts and by community donations. This collaboration will, however, be paid on a freelance basis, with payment per review, funded through the donations the project receives. Examples of previous reviews or published writing are highly valued.
