I recently updated my Shopify homepage and ever since, the first contentful paint has slowed noticeably and visitors see a brief green “flash” at the very top of the screen before the page settles. The rest of the site runs fine; the problem is confined to the homepage. I need a Shopify-savvy performance specialist to: • Diagnose what’s delaying the first contentful paint and identify the exact cause of the green flash (Liquid, CSS, app script, image, or a combination). • Optimise theme code, critical CSS, and any render-blocking assets so the first contentful paint is consistently fast on both mobile and desktop. • Deliver a concise report showing the steps you took, Lighthouse or PageSpeed metrics before and after, and any follow-up recommendations.
