We are seeking an experienced POS integration developer or system architect to design and implement a stable connection between our Fishbowl Inventory server and Toshiba TCx Sky (SurePOS ACE) POS system. Our goal is to synchronize sales, returns, and inventory data between our store POS environment and the Fishbowl Inventory back office in near real-time or through scheduled batch sync. This project involves mapping POS transactions, item master data, and stock updates between the two systems using APIs, data exports, or middleware. Objectives: Automate transfer of sales, returns, and tender data from Toshiba ACE POS → Fishbowl Inventory. Sync item master, pricing, and stock quantities from Fishbowl Inventory → Toshiba ACE POS. Ensure accurate inventory decrement and return reconciliation between store and warehouse. Create error logging, retry logic, and reconciliation reports for data consistency. Provide technical documentation and configuration instructions for maintenance. Technical Environment: POS System: Toshiba TCx Sky / SurePOS ACE (TCx Sky, with Store Integrator and Data Integration Facility [DIF]) Inventory System: Fishbowl Inventory Server (Advanced Edition, REST API enabled) Database: MySQL (Fishbowl default) Preferred Languages/Tools: C#, Python, Node.js, or Java for API/middleware scripting Network: On-premises Windows Server environment (VPN or local LAN access)
