The ERPNext environment is already installed and the Point of Sales module is mostly configured—I now need it taken across the finish line for a retail-store workflow. The POS Point of Sales module is the only area that still needs attention; everything else in the system is functioning as expected. My goal is simple: when a cashier scans a product, the correct price appears, stock is updated instantly, taxes are applied automatically, the customer walks away with a branded receipt, and at day-end I can reconcile sales without a single discrepancy. The core setup is in place, so this assignment is about reviewing what’s been done, correcting any mis-configurations, and tightening all loose ends (‘Point of Sales – setup done, finalization’ as noted in my checklist). Key tasks I foresee: • Verify and optimise POS profiles, payment modes, and tax templates. • Ensure barcode scanning flows smoothly and ties back to real-time inventory depletion. • Fine-tune price lists, discounts, and receipt print formats to retail standards. • Confirm that closing shifts, end-of-day reports, and general ledger postings balance perfectly. • Walk me through the final settings so I can maintain them after go-live. Acceptance criteria: a five-item test sale processes flawlessly from scan to stock adjustment, receipt printing, and ledger posting, followed by a clean shift close report with no errors. Access to the existing instance will be provided immediately after we agree on the timeline, and I can supply sample SKUs and tax rules so you can test in a real-world scenario.
