Scope • Map the current feature set and user journeys through short discovery calls and access to staging accounts. • Draft step-by-step instructions, annotated screenshots, and contextual tips that match our UI exactly. • Integrate reference sections—glossary, keyboard shortcuts, FAQs—so administrators and end-users can quickly troubleshoot without support tickets. • Deliver the final manual in both Word and searchable PDF, formatted with an auto-generated table of contents and hyperlinking throughout. Preferred tools MadCap Flare or RoboHelp for structured authoring are ideal, but Word with well-designed styles is fine if you can keep headings and cross-references dynamic. Basic image editing (Snagit, Photoshop) will help polish screenshots. Acceptance criteria 1. Every primary and secondary feature documented with at least one example workflow. 2. Terminology aligns with the in-app labels provided in our style guide. 3. Internal review shows no critical omissions and fewer than five minor edits per 20 pages.
