My production WordPress site running on AWS has suddenly gone offline and I need it restored to its last stable state as quickly as possible. The incident presents itself as a full website crash, so visitors currently see either a blank page or an error message. The stack is a typical EC2 + RDS (MariaDB) setup behind an Application Load Balancer, with nightly EBS snapshots enabled and AWS Backup configured—yet I have not confirmed which recovery point will be safest to use. I need someone who can immediately jump in, locate the most recent valid snapshot or other backup, perform the rollback, and verify that the site loads normally over HTTPS once complete. A successful engagement will: • Restore the site so pages, media files, and database content appear exactly as they did before the outage. • Keep downtime to an absolute minimum—ideally under an hour once work begins. • Preserve any log data that might help diagnose what went wrong, without overwriting it during the rollback. • Provide a concise summary of actions taken and any recommendations to harden the backup / recovery strategy moving forward. You will need solid experience with AWS Console, CLI, EC2, EBS snapshots, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, and of course WordPress file-system and database structure. SSH access and AWS IAM credentials can be provided immediately after project award. If you can start right away, please outline your rollback approach and estimated timeline in your proposal.
