I need reliable, end-to-end conversion tracking running on two separate websites(1 wordpress another php) that feed data into two Google Ads accounts and one Meta Ads Manager account. The goal is to see exactly which campaigns, ad groups and creatives drive form submissions, phone clicks and any future micro-conversions we agree on. Both platforms—Google Ads (via gtag/GTM) and Meta (via the Meta Pixel + Conversions API if appropriate)—must record identical events so results line up in Google Analytics 4, Ads, and Meta reporting. At the moment I’m not even sure whether Google Tag Manager is already in place, so the first task is to audit each site for existing tags, pixels or hard-coded scripts, then either clean them up or install GTM containers from scratch. Once tracking is live I want to: • see conversion actions firing in the respective dashboards with no duplicate or missing events • have test events documented (screenshots or Loom) for each key action on both sites • receive a brief hand-off note that lists every tag, trigger and variable you added or adjusted, including any server-side additions Please reply with a sentence or two about comparable tracking projects you’ve completed and which tools or methods you prefer for troubleshooting misfires.
