I have a multi-purpose room that will be used for watching movies, listening to music, and gaming, and I need a precise CAD layout that maps a full 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos speaker array. Your drawing must follow Dolby’s published placement angles, heights, and listener geometry while also showing where doors and existing furniture sit so everything fits comfortably. Beyond the speaker positions, I want an aesthetic acoustic-treatment plan—panels, bass traps, diffusers, or any creative solution—that blends with the décor rather than looking like studio foam slapped on the walls. Please indicate suggested panel sizes, finish ideas, and ideal mounting points right on the drawing so my contractor can install exactly what you specify. Deliverables • Dimensioned CAD file (DWG or DXF) with speaker, sub, and listener locations, doors, and furniture • Layer or sheet detailing acoustic treatments with notes on thickness, material, and finish • PDF export for quick reference I work mostly in AutoCAD and SketchUp, so files native to either platform will be easiest for me to review. Accuracy to Dolby guidelines and clear, build-ready annotations are the key acceptance criteria. Room size is 11.5x17x10ft. 120inch diagonal screen motorized will be on 11.5ft wall. I am planning a recliner king size bed which will be placed 4ft ahead of back wall. So the speakers comfortably fits. I am also looking to build a false baffle wall or flush mount my speakers.
