Overview: Design your own SolidWorks assembly. This can be based on a real-world object, or something you make up. For instance, an assembly that represent the concept from your pitch could be a good choice as long as it can meet the requirements. Be ambitious. I want you to show your skill and to have fun, keeping in mind, I'm not expecting an expert level submission. An overly simple object will not have enough complexity to get the Creativity/Effort/Style points. Goals: Boss Extrude/Cut (with draft option) Revolve Extrude/Cut Sweep Boss/Cut Patterning (circular or linear) Fillet/Chamfer Hole Wizard Materials Selection Mates (in Assembly) Show proper SolidWorks style Fully define sketches Fully mated assemblies Logical origin placement Deliverable and Requirements: An assembly with at least 3 unique parts where: Parts must be fully mated (i.e. fully defined mates) Parts may be repeated, but there must be at least 3 unique base parts. Parts should be: Fully defined and error free Have a material defined Sufficiently different from each other so that they can be considered unique All tools listed above should be used at least once across all parts The revolve should be complex enough that it cannot be easily replace with bosses Left side = easy to replace with bosses, Right = revolve that cannot be replaced with bosses
