I am setting up a brand-new Odoo instance for my made-to-measure curtain company and need it built completely from scratch. The main objective is to streamline every step of our process so that sales, production, installation and ongoing service sit in one seamless workflow. Here is what the system must cover: • Sales A product configurator that lets my team build quotations based on fabric, lining, track type and exact window measurements, then turns an approved quote straight into a sales order without re-keying data. • Production Manufacturing orders should be generated automatically from the sales order, pulling the correct bill of materials, calculating fabric cuts, labour time and automatically reserving stock. I also need work-centre dashboards for the sewing and assembly teams. • Installation & Service Once production is complete, the system has to schedule installation crews, map routes and provide a mobile view so technicians can capture customer sign-off and photos on site. After installation, service tickets and warranty information should sit against the same project. • Cost Calculation Every quote must show real-time material, labour and installation costs so I can see margins before confirming with the customer, and later compare estimated vs. actual costs. Acceptance criteria 1. A fresh Odoo database hosted on my preferred VPS, ready for live use. 2. End-to-end workflow tested: quote → manufacturing → installation → service ticket. 3. Role-based access so showroom staff, factory workers and installers only see what they need. 4. Training session (recorded) covering daily operations and basic admin tasks. 5.
