Job Description: We are looking for an experienced web developer (or team) to design and develop a custom e-commerce website from the ground up. The goal is to build a fast, secure, and scalable platform tailored to our brand identity and business needs—not just a generic template. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop a responsive, user-friendly e-commerce website. Implement a custom product catalog with advanced filtering, sorting, and search features. Integrate a secure shopping cart and checkout system (multiple payment gateways: PayPal, Stripe, mobile money, etc.). Develop user accounts & profiles (order history, wishlists, address management). Implement inventory management, order tracking, and admin dashboard. Optimize the website for SEO, performance, and security. Ensure mobile-first design and cross-browser compatibility. Provide documentation and support for maintenance. Requirements: Proven experience in custom web development (not only CMS templates). Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP/Python/Node.js (depending on stack). Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.). Familiarity with modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, or Laravel/Django/Express). Experience integrating payment gateways & APIs. Knowledge of e-commerce best practices (UX/UI, security, GDPR compliance, etc.). Portfolio of previous e-commerce projects is a must. Nice to Have: Experience with AI-driven features (recommendation engine, chatbots). Ability to integrate with third-party logistics (shipping APIs). Knowledge of digital marketing tools (analytics, tracking, funnels). Deliverables: Fully functional custom e-commerce website. Admin dashboard for management.
