We are a rapidly growing international distributor specializing in electronics, video games, and software products. We are currently expanding our operations and seeking to develop a custom API-based inventory management system that will seamlessly integrate with multiple online marketplaces. Project Overview: We are looking for an experienced developer (or team) to build a centralized API system that will automatically synchronize our product inventory, prices, and orders across several third-party platforms. The system should allow importing and managing license key data (in multiple formats such as PDF, JPG/PNG scans, and TXT files) and track sales, costs, and profit margins in real-time. Core Requirements: Inventory Management: Ability to upload and manage product data and license keys. Support for multiple formats (PDF, image scans, TXT). Organized product categorization and search. API Integration: Connects to various marketplace APIs (details to be shared privately). Syncs listings, prices, and stock automatically. Tracks orders and updates availability in real-time. Client Access: Option for selected clients to connect to our API for direct access to our inventory. Each client’s sales data and transaction history should be recorded for reporting purposes. Cost & Profit Tracking: Ability to input the cost price for each product (game, subscription, etc.). The system should automatically calculate the profit after deducting marketplace fees. Each marketplace has its own fee structure, so this must be adjustable per channel. Smart Dynamic Pricing: The system should allow setting a minimum and target profit margin. Prices should automatically adjust based on competitors’ listings. Example: Product cost = €10 Minimum selling price = €11 If competitors sell at €13, our listing should start at €12.99 If market prices drop, our system should gradually lower the price—but never below €11. Dashboard & Reporting: Clean, user-friendly admin interface. Overview of stock, prices, fees, and total earnings. Export options (CSV, XLSX). Preferred Skills: Experience with API integration and automation. Strong background in Python, Node.js, or PHP. Familiarity with database design (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Knowledge of web dashboards or admin panels (React, Vue, or similar). Experience working with eCommerce APIs (bonus). Deliverables: Fully functional system with documentation. Admin dashboard (web-based). Secure database and authentication. Scalability for additional marketplaces and users.
