Animated (Rigged) 3D Models of Pontius Pilate and Jesus – Blender Software Project Description We are seeking an experienced 3D modeller and animator to create two high-fidelity, animation-ready (rigged) historical character models. The models will be used in a historical/cinematic visualization project for a VR experience. Required Characters: Pontius Pilate: Appearance of a severe, mature man, wearing Roman magistrate attire (toga praetexta or similar vestment, light armour details, or accessories indicating authority). Must convey authority and inner conflict. Jesus of Nazareth: Appearance consistent with historical iconography (Middle Eastern, beard, simple tunic). Must convey dignity and weariness. Essential Technical Requirements The candidate must be able to meet the following technical requirements: Software: The project must be completed entirely in Blender. Detail (Modelling and Texturing): Medium/High polygon models (targeting, e.g., 30,000–50,000 vertices) to ensure a high level of visual detail. Realistic, high-resolution textures (PBR – Physically Based Rendering) (e.g., 4K for the body and clothing). Rigging and Animation: Each model must be fully rigged (with skeleton, weights, and IK/FK controls) to allow for high-quality animation. Facial rigging (Face Rig) is a strong plus (or a requirement if needed for dialogue). Output Format: Final files must be provided in the native .blend format and the standard animation exchange format, preferably .FBX.
