It requires you to: • state the purpose of the report • identify the key drivers of juvenile offending/delinquency • identify which of the four approaches you would recommend implementing (applying) in the circumstances in the case study • explain why you would recommend this/these approaches • identify and explain any issues or limitations related to your recommended approaches • throughout your report, support your recommendations with evidence from academic sources • conclude your report by summarising your recommendations. Use any necessary headings in your report to organise ideas clearly. Research • In this task, you are required to use a minimum of six (6) academic sources. At least two (2) of these sources must be published in the last two (2) years. • Appropriate academic sources include peer-reviewed sources such as journal articles, academic books, book chapters in edited books, and government reports. • Newspapers or magazine articles and internet webpages are not appropriate sources for this task. They should only be used in conjunction with academic sources. Avoid encyclopaedia entries and textbooks (particularly your course textbook).
