Here’s what I want to cover, in roughly the order I expect to need it: • Smooth installation and configuration of both IDEs on macOS, including any extensions or CLI tools they rely on. • Day-to-day workflow basics—opening projects, using the command palette, chatting with the embedded AI, and version-control integration. • Moving beyond “hello world”: advanced coding techniques, refactoring with AI assistance, prompt engineering inside the editor, and pair-programming style usage. • Effective debugging: stepping through Python, interpreting stack traces, and letting Claude or Warp suggest fixes while I learn why they work. • Short practical exercises that mirror the AI-heavy integrations I’ll eventually build (think small agents, API calls, vector store look-ups, etc.). All examples should be written in Python, and by the end I’d like a mini reference repo plus a repeatable workflow I can lean on for future AI application projects.
