I have a festive React + Express application that is almost ready for the season, but it still needs a final push before I can share it with the world. The site already features interactive gifts, snow-themed CSS animations and a live countdown, yet several bugs and unfinished pieces are holding it back. Here is what I need help with right now: • Countdown timer fixes – the date is still hard-coded to 2022, the numbers occasionally freeze, and the layout breaks on some viewports. • User authentication touch-up – registration and login are working; I now need a solid password-reset flow wired into the existing MongoDB/Express stack. • Gift system expansion – add more gift types and eye-catching animations so visitors can unwrap different surprises (we can look at custom or random gifts later, but the focus is on varied visuals). • Christmas music toggle – lightweight audio controls that let users start, stop or mute a looping holiday track without hurting performance. • Admin dashboard – a small, secure panel to update gift assets, change the countdown date and manage festive content. • Performance & responsive polish – clean up bundle size, tidy CSS, and be sure it looks perfect on phones, tablets and desktops. • Production deployment & docs – containerised or traditional hosting is fine; just leave me with step-by-step instructions (Git commands, environment variables, build script). Tech context React 18, Node/Express, MongoDB, Git; the repo is on GitHub and runs locally with Docker Compose. CSS animations are plain CSS right now, so you’re free to introduce Framer Motion or GSAP if that speeds things up. Deliverables 1. Fully functional Christmas website pushed to a production domain 2. Admin dashboard merged into the same codebase 3. Clean, commented code with a README covering setup, env variables, deployment steps and how to add new gifts If this sounds straightforward for your React, Node and MongoDB skill-set, let’s get the sleigh moving!
