About the Project: A professional services firm is building a centralized legal operations platform designed to automate cause-list monitoring, streamline internal workflows, and assist in AI-driven document drafting. The platform will: - Automatically fetch and parse daily cause lists from court websites (initially the Delhi High Court). - Update task cards and hearing dates in a Trello-style management board. - Classify and route client emails to relevant associates and clerks using AI. - Integrate a large-context LLM (e.g., OpenAI GPT-4o) for long-form legal drafting. We’re looking for a highly skilled developer who can build this from end to end — from backend architecture to frontend integration. Responsibilities: - Backend Development: • Create APIs and automation scripts for daily cause-list extraction (HTML/PDF). • Implement logic to detect advocate appearances and update corresponding cases. • Design and maintain data models for matters, hearings, users, and tasks. - Frontend & UI: • Build a responsive web dashboard (React / Next.js preferred). • Implement a Kanban-style board for tracking tasks, deadlines, and statuses. - AI & Automation: • Integrate Gmail API or Microsoft Graph API to fetch and route client emails. • Use LLMs (GPT-4o or similar) for drafting, summarization, and document generation. • Develop a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) system using vector embeddings. - Infrastructure & Deployment: • Deploy on AWS (Lambda, RDS, S3, EventBridge) or Supabase + Vercel, ensuring scalability and reliability. • Implement authentication, role-based access control, and secure data storage. - Testing & Handover: • Perform QA testing and optimization. • Deliver clean, documented code and deployment scripts.
