I need a fully-functional streaming site, similar in look and feel to raretoonsindia, that can serve both anime series and movies. Secure, mandatory user registration and login sit at the core of the build; guests should be able to browse titles, but playback, downloads, reviews, or watch-listing must be locked behind an account wall. Key user-side features • Reviews & ratings attached to each title, displayed instantly after submission • Personal watchlist stored server-side so it follows the user across devices • One-click download button (episodes or full movies) with bandwidth-friendly throttling • “Request an Anime” form that drops straight into the admin panel for approval Behind the scenes I want an intuitive admin dashboard where I can: – Upload or link HLS/MP4 sources, fill metadata fields, and push content live – Moderate reviews, handle anime requests, and see basic analytics (plays, downloads, active users) Technical expectations / acceptance criteria • Modern, responsive front-end (React, Next.js, Vue, or similar) paired with a stable back-end (Node, Django, Laravel, etc.)—I’m open to your preferred stack as long as it supports smooth HLS streaming and is easy to maintain. • Pages should load in under 3 seconds on a 4G connection; 720p and 1080p streams should start within 2 seconds and seek without buffering spikes. • All authentication flows must be protected with hashed passwords and CSRF protection. • Source code, database schema, and an install/readme come with the final hand-over; I should be able to redeploy on a fresh VPS with those instructions alone.
