I’m ready to move beyond copy-pasting tutorials and actually understand how modern back-ends work. I’d like a knowledgeable tutor to walk me through both relational and document-based databases—think MySQL/PostgreSQL alongside MongoDB—and show me how they plug into real-world RESTful APIs. Here is the core of what I want to master: • Database design & schema creation • Writing and optimizing queries • Database administration and security We can work in whatever stack you’re most comfortable with (Node.js/Express, Python/Flask/Django, etc.) as long as the lessons stay hands-on. I learn best when I can share my screen, build small features together, then get short assignments that force me to apply the concepts on my own. By the end, I’d like to deploy a mini project that exposes REST endpoints backed by both a SQL database and a MongoDB instance, complete with authentication and basic security hardening.
