My current AWS Lightsail server went down and the website it hosts is offline. I do have a full backup of the site files and database, but the instance itself is no longer responsive. I need someone who can jump in quickly, look at the existing Lightsail setup, and advise whether it’s smarter to spin up a fresh instance or simply move the plan to a larger bundle. Once the path is chosen, you’ll provision the new or upgraded instance, harden basic security, restore the site from my backup, and make sure DNS and SSL pick up smoothly so visitors see no further downtime. Tools you’re likely to touch: AWS Lightsail console, snapshots, AWS CLI/SSH, S3 (for the backup), and whichever web stack components are required by the site (it isn’t a standard CMS or e-commerce build, but I can provide full details once we connect). Acceptance criteria • Website loads normally on the new or upgraded Lightsail instance • All previous site functionality verified by me as working • Basic monitoring and automatic snapshot schedule enabled • Short hand-off document outlining what was done and how to scale further if needed I’m ready to start as soon as you are.
