I’m looking for an experienced AWS engineer to design and build a cloud-based migration framework that simplifies and automates data ingestion from multiple source systems—starting with Oracle—into eGain Knowledge. What I need: An AWS architecture that can securely extract, transform, and load knowledge base content from Oracle and potentially other systems in the future. A scalable and maintainable pipeline using native AWS services (e.g., Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB/RDS, etc.—open to proposals). Data transformation logic to map Oracle KB structures to the eGain Knowledge data model. Support for incremental updates, validation, and error handling. Deployment via IaC (CloudFormation or Terraform preferred). Clear documentation and basic handover so the solution can be maintained internally. Goal: Create a robust and reusable AWS migration solution that accelerates the movement of knowledge base content from Oracle into eGain Knowledge, with the flexibility to support additional source systems down the line. Ideal freelancer: Strong AWS architecture + serverless experience Experience with ETL pipelines and data migrations Understanding of API integrations; eGain experience is a plus but not required Able to advise on best practices for scaling, security, and performance
