I keep a Google Sheet that holds every order we receive, but right now I’m pasting the information by hand from the confirmation emails that land in my inbox. I need a reliable automation that will: • Monitor incoming email notifications (Gmail) for new orders, • Parse each message to pull the order details—ID, customer, items, price, shipping, anything else in the body or attached PDF, and • Append or update the matching row in my Google Sheet the same day it arrives, without creating duplicates. A Google Apps Script is the most straightforward route, though I’m open to another solution if it lives entirely inside the Google Workspace ecosystem and requires no paid third-party tools. The script should run on a time-based trigger or on receipt of the email, include basic error handling, and be easy for me to maintain (variables for label, sheet ID, column mapping, etc.). Deliverables: 1. Working automation deployed in my account. 2. Brief setup notes so I can tweak labels, column names and triggers later. 3. One short Loom or screenshot guide showing the script in action and the Sheet updating. When I see the Sheet populating itself from the next day’s batch of order-confirmation emails, the job is done.
