I’m looking to tackle the next wave of challenges in automobile sales by first surfacing the most pressing, forward-looking problems and then proving out a technical fix. The work breaks down into three tightly connected stages. 1) Discovery • Research the automobile sales landscape, interview or scrape relevant data sources, and pinpoint tomorrow’s business issues—not yesterday’s—across dealerships, OEMs, and online platforms. 2) Market-Trends Analysis Report • Deliver a clear, data-backed market trends analysis that explains why each problem matters right now, how big the impact could be, and where the market is heading. Visuals, charts, or dashboards that make the findings immediately digestible are essential. 3) Working Prototype The prototype should roll the analysis into a small but convincing product demo that includes: • Automated data collection (APIs, web scraping, or direct DB connections) • A real-time analytics dashboard showing key KPIs as they update • Prediction algorithms that turn those live feeds into actionable foresight (e.g., demand forecasting or pricing guidance) Code can be in Python, JavaScript, or a comparable modern stack as long as setup is straightforward, dependencies are documented, and I can run the demo locally. Hand over: • Clean, well-commented source code • A short README with install/run steps • Screenshots or a short screen-capture of the dashboard in action • The full market trends analysis (PDF or slide deck) If all three pieces flow together and the prototype convincingly addresses the highlighted business problems, we’re done.
