I need a full-stack developer to build the first release of my social media application for Android. The goal is to ship a clean, production-ready APK that lets users create profiles, exchange direct messages, and scroll through a dynamic content feed where both photos and videos can be uploaded and viewed. The scope covers everything from UI/UX and native Android development (Kotlin or Java) to the backend APIs, real-time messaging layer, media storage, and basic moderation tools. While the initial launch is Android-only, I’d like the architecture to be modular enough that we can add iOS or a web client later without rewriting core services. Key deliverables • Fully functional Android app with: – Secure user sign-up / login (email, phone, or social) – Editable profile pages with avatars and bio – One-to-one and group messaging with push notifications – Infinite-scroll feed pulling text, images, and video posts – Reliable photo & video upload, compression, and playback • Backend (Node.js, Firebase, or comparable) with REST or GraphQL endpoints, real-time sockets for chat, and cloud storage for media • Admin dashboard or simple script for user/content management • Source code in a Git repository, build instructions, and a short technical hand-over document • A staged rollout plan and support through Play Store submission Acceptance criteria 1. All listed features must be testable on at least Android 10+ devices. 2. Core user flows execute in under three taps and under two seconds per screen load on 4G. 3. Media uploads survive network drops and resume automatically. 4. No critical or major bugs in a 7-day beta test with at least 25 users.
