I’m building a focused productivity tool for Android and I need an experienced mobile developer to turn the concept into a polished, Play-Store-ready application. The core workflow is simple: the server will generate push notifications and other real-time signals; the app must receive them instantly, surface them in a clean UI, and log the event locally for the user. Scope • Architect and code a native Android app (Kotlin or Java—your call) that subscribes to my server’s notification channel. • Implement reliable push handling—Firebase Cloud Messaging is ideal, but I’m open to other solutions if you can justify the choice. • Display each incoming signal in an inbox-style screen and provide quick-action buttons so users can acknowledge or snooze it. • Store notifications in an on-device database for offline viewing and basic analytics. • Package, test, and prepare a signed release build. I don’t need task management, calendar integration, or time tracking in this first version; everything should revolve around speedy, dependable notification delivery. Acceptance The APK must install on Android 10+ without crashes, pass Play Console pre-launch tests, and demonstrate real-time notification intake during a live walkthrough with me.
