Android Native App Functional Testing

I’m getting ready to ship a native Android application and want an experienced tester to run a full round of functional testing before I push it to production. Your job is to work through every screen, flow, and edge-case on real devices (emulators are fine for quick checks, but I need at least one physical handset in the mix) and document anything that breaks, behaves unexpectedly, or feels inconsistent with the intended behaviour. Here’s how I picture the engagement: • Kick-off call so I can walk you through core features and expected outcomes. • You create or refine a concise test plan covering all user journeys, permissions, network states, and orientation changes. • Execute the tests on current Android versions and note device/OS combinations used. • File clear, reproducible bug reports with screenshots, logs, or screen recordings in my preferred tracker (Jira; I can supply guest credentials). • Deliver a short summary report highlighting critical issues, nice-to-have fixes, and overall release readiness. Acceptance criteria – All high-severity and reproducible medium-severity issues are logged. – Test coverage aligns with the agreed plan. – Final report is delivered in both PDF and tracker export format. If you’re comfortable diving straight into a native Android build, let me know your device inventory and estimated turnaround time so we can get started.
