I need an Android-only banking app built from scratch. For this first release the scope is intentionally tight: users must be able to sign in, authenticate with fingerprint, and view their real-time account balance. I will supply the RESTful endpoints for authentication and balance data; your task is to wire them up, handle token refresh, and present the information in a clean Material-compliant UI. Security is paramount, so the Android BiometricPrompt API, proper encryption of stored tokens, and SSL pinning should be in place from day one. Kotlin with an MVVM architecture is preferred, and the project must compile without warnings in the latest stable Android Studio.
