We’re looking for a talented AI/ML Integration Developer with hands-on experience integrating cloud-based facial recognition APIs into real-world systems. Your main goal will be to build and optimize a facial recognition pipeline that can automatically detect, identify, and tag users in images: securely, accurately, and at scale. If you’ve previously worked with AWS Rekognition, Azure Face API, or Google Cloud Vision AI, and enjoy building backend systems that connect with AI services, we’d love to hear from you. What You’ll Do - Integrate facial recognition APIs (AWS, Azure, or Google) into our backend. - Build a secure user enrollment and matching workflow using Face IDs or embeddings. - Handle large-scale image uploads and trigger asynchronous face detection/recognition jobs. - Implement image preprocessing (resizing, cropping, quality adjustments) before sending to AI APIs. - Optimize performance using queues, workers, or message brokers for background processing. - Ensure data privacy and security when managing facial and biometric data. - Collaborate with our backend team to store and sync tagging results with the main database. What We’re Looking For - 3+ years of experience integrating AI/ML or Computer Vision APIs. - Strong backend skills in Python or Node.js (Go or PHP/Laravel is also fine). - Proven experience building or consuming REST APIs at scale. - Familiarity with cloud AI tools like AWS Rekognition, Azure Face API, or Google Vision AI. - Understanding of Face Recognition fundamentals (Detection, Verification, Identification). - Comfortable working with Git and standard DevOps practices. Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Haves) - Experience with OpenCV or dlib for custom image processing. - Knowledge of MLOps or monitoring deployed AI systems. - Background in high-security or privacy-sensitive projects. - Understanding of Redis, Memcached, or similar caching systems.
