I have a 3D JPG of a sheet-metal C-channel that now needs flattening. Your task is to convert item no 1(channel) of the drawing model into a clean, ready-to-manufacture 2D flat pattern and provide it in both PDF and DFX formats. The drawing must carry all detailed dimensions so the shop can cut directly from the file, and every required bend line has to be clearly shown. I’m fine with standard file names; no special prefixes or codes are needed. Most CAD platforms—SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or similar—are acceptable, as long as the geometry stays true to the original and the output opens flawlessly in common viewers and CNC software. Deliverables • PDF: fully dimensioned flat pattern with bend lines • DFX: matching flat pattern, same scale and orientation I’ll review the files by overlaying them on the original model, checking critical dimensions and bend placement. Once they line up, we’re done.
